114 Conservative backbenchers vote for an amendment to the queen's speech regretting the lack of an EU referendum. The media go wild - splits, rebellion & a government falling apart. It's no such thing. Thankfully the Conservative party is deeply eurosceptic. Without it we would now be subsumed into the euro depression with unemployment over 10% and rising.
The EU and it's disastrous progeny the euro is yet another of the major issues of our time that our political class has been wrong about. It is amongst the major principled reasons that politicians are held in so much contempt.
